Thank you for visiting my website. I was elected in June 2009 as a Conservative MEP to represent the South West of England and Gibraltar.

Together with my 25 Conservative Party colleagues we have joined with MEPs from 8 other countries to form a new centre-right group in the European Parliament. Our new group, the European Conservatives and Reformists, is built on the need for an open and accountable Europe that respects the sovereignty of the Nation States. I want to see the EU concentrate on increasing the prosperity of the Peoples of Europe and improving the environment they live in, not pursuing “ever closer political union”.
